The plan this week:
Class one:
We are focusing on listening part 3 and the theme of celebrations. We will start with a quiz on world celebrations, and talk about how we celebrate special occasions. We will complete exercises 1, 3 and 4 on page 6, and then the listening exam task. We will finish the class by completing exercises 1 and 2 on page 7, in the form of a kahoot.
Homework: complete the exam task on page 7
Class two:
Today we are revising the present tenses and how we can use them to talk about routines and future plans. We will complete activities 1-3 on page 8 which include some listenings, and to test your knowledge we will also have a Kahoot quiz on the present simple. We will then complete exercise 5 before finishing with some speaking practice in pairs, for part 1 of the exam.
