In this week’s only we completed all the activities on page 10 of the book, which focused on the use of the present simple and continuous and how we use them for routines, things we are doing now, and temporary situations. We also completed a Kahoot quiz at the end of the class to reinforce these grammar points.
The homework was a photocopy of part 1 of the Reading and Writing exam, and this was handed out in class. There are also some writings that students had not completed. To remind you, the question was:
Your family is visiting London next month. You have an English pen friend called Zara who also lives in London. You would like to meet here when you go to London.
Write an email to Zara. In your email, you should:
- say when your family is coming to London
- ask if you can meet up, and suggest a day
- suggest what you can do together.
Write 35-45 words.
