Class one:
Today we will check the homework and go through some of the answers in more detail. Then we will look at a the use of inversion, which will be very useful in formal and semi-formal writing. We will start by looking at how it is formed and why/when it can be used effectively. Then we will practice it orally with the help of Indiana Jones, before students make a written record. This grammar point also comes up in part 4 of the Reading and Use of English exam so we will look at some key word transformations. Below you can find all the material that will be used in the class.

Class two:
Today we will finish the work on inversion (from class one) on this worksheet :
and then look at some more of use of english part 2 on page 70.
