Class one:
In the first class we checked the Easter homework and went through any doubts. We then looked at part 3 of the use of english: word formation. We practised reforming words from the Quizlet set below, which contains a load of common word transformations from the FCE exam:

Homework: Exam practice given out as photocopy in class.
Class two:
Today we started by completing listening exam task 1 on page 94 and 95. We then moved onto speaking practice. We focused on speaking for just one minute as in part 2 of the exam, as well as some useful phrases to fill time when you don’t know what to say.
Homework: This week’s tasks were all handed out in class as photocopies from the exam booklet. Please see photos below if you were not in class.
