Class one:
Today we are focusing on part 1 of the exam, so we will look at some of the grammar tricks to help you get good marks! This includes prepositions that go with verbs and adjectives, and commonly confused words. We will play a Kahoot to help with this part. We will also check the homework from last class.
Homework is exercises 1-4 on pages 10 and 11.
Class two:
Today we will begin by checking the homework set on Monday. Then to put some of the techniques and language we learned into practice, we’ll complete a part 1 exam task about a traditional festival held in the UK. After correcting, we will look at how to write an article for part 2 of the writing exam.
