We will start of with a role play about buying a house, and then discuss what are the most important things when considering purchasing a property, as well as discussing architecture and its importance in today’s world.
Then we will shift our attention to writing part 2, and how to write a proposal. We will look at the structure of the task, and useful phrases that can be included. We are then going to work through the plan for your proposal in pairs.
Your homework will be to complete the following exam task:

You decide to write a proposal for the town council explaining why you think the building should be preserved, suggesting what could be done to modernise it and saying how the building could benefit the local people.
Write your proposal in 220-260 words.
