Welcome back guys!
To start the term we are revising some of the grammar we looked at last year. We are starting by focusing on the past simple tense. Students will ask and answer questions about what they did over the holidays. Then we will play a trading card game in which they have to ask and answer past tense questions to win their opponents’ cards.
In class two we are focusing on the future tense, with will and going to. We will complete the sentences from http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/grammar-practice/will-future-predictions and then play a game in which students have to create sentences in the future as quickly as possible. Next students will make predictions about the year ahead. We will write these down, and open them at the end of term.
