In class one we are learning how to talk about continuous past actions using was + gerund. Students played a game where they had to memorise the actions of the other students as they walked into the room, creating sentences using the structure. We then played a sentence completion game to see the structure in words.
In the second class we will begin with a game to revise the structure of was+gerund
