In class one we checked the homework on page 25 and then looked at get used, be used to, and used to + verb. Students worked together to make sentences about situations of life in which there is change. We also looked at a logic puzzle to revise likes and dislikes. For homework, please complete exercise 2 on page 30.
In class two we looked at Halloween vocabulary and a history of the celebration. We watched a video and answered comprehension questions about it. Finally, students worked together to solve a murder mystery.
Homework: It’s your birthday next week so you’re going to have a party. You want to invite your friend Lisa. Write an email to invite her to the party. Tell her when it is, what she should bring, and how to get to there. Write your answer in 100 words.
