Today we did a writing workshop to revise essay structure and appropriate vocabulary. We looked at the question below about festivals and celebrations.
Homework:
In your English class you have been talking about festivals and celebrations. Now, your English teacher has asked you to write an essay. Write an essay using all of the notes and give reasons for your point of view.
Some people think we should make children take part in traditional festivals and celebrations. Do you agree?
Notes Write about:
1. The importance of traditional festivals and celebrations
2. How changes in modern life affect festivals and celebrations
3. (your own idea)
Write your essay in 140- 190 words
In class two we looked at the passive voice and reading and use of English part 4- sentence transformation, on pages 74 and 75. We covered exam technique and played a game of part 4 reversi to practise.
