In class one we looked at writing part 1 (the essay). We started by speaking about stressful situations and how to avoid stress. Students completed a speaking part 3 exam task on page 37 which led into the essay question on page 39. Students worked in pairs to plan the essay. The PDF below has useful tips on paragraph structure, and phrases you can use in the essay.
Homework: Complete the essay for next Monday.
In class two we focused on part 2 of the use of english exam. We spoke about the nature vs nurture debate and where talent comes from. We also looked at dependent prepositions and played a game to practise them.
