To start off we will play a vocabulary description game. Then we will watch a video of part 1 of the speaking exam. Students will report back the questions they hear and practise giving their own answers. Cambridge B1 speaking part 1
We will then look at part 2 of the speaking exam, which is all about holidays. We will talk about our favourite destinations and what we like to do on holiday. Then students will work in pairs to complete a holiday role-play.
Finally students will complete an exam practice in pairs.
We will finish off with a Kahoot Geography
In class two we will look at parts 3 and 4 of the speaking exam. We will start off by watching the video of two exam candidates describing photos.
Students will then work together to describe their own photos. We also have a game in which students have to describe a real or imaginary photo. Describe the Picture
Following this students will work together to answer discussion questions based on the topic of the previous photos.
To finish off we will play a UK trivia Quiz
