Today we will start working from the course book.
We will begin by watching two video about specific natural disasters, and vocabulary related to these events. To put this new vocabulary into context, we will compare the two events incorporating language of speculation.
We will then complete listening part 4 on page 8 of the course book.
To finish off the class students will play a Quizlet live to consolidate the adjectives from the listening task.

In class two we will focus on essay writing.
To start off we’ll talk about big life decisions. We will then play a Kahoot to learn new contrast linking words and then use them to make sentences about the pros and cons of the previous big life decisions.
Next students will look at the essay question on page 15 and answer the questions in exercise 5 and 6 in pairs. We will also look at how to structure the essay.
To finish the class we will play a vocabulary game.
