Hi guys,
In class one we will start work from our brand new course books! We will begin on page 10 by watching a short video of students introducing themselves. We will then work in pairs to answer the questions in exercise 1.
Following on we will look at some exam techniques for part 7 of the reading and use of english exam.
We will also review the past tenses by completing exercises 1-5 on page 12. Students will then take part in Alibi- an activity where they have to create a backstory before being interrogated by the police.

In class two we’ll begin by discussing different creative jobs on page 13. We will complete a listening part 3 task related to these jobs.
Following this we will look at the essay task for this week’s homework. We will discuss the question in groups and brainstorm ideas for content. We will then practise how to write an introduction and then the main paragraphs.
We will finish with a Kahoot of this week’s news.
