Class one
Today in class we will continue to work on participle clauses. To start off we will look back at the sentences we saw in Wednesday’s class, and revise the different ways we can use present participle clauses.
Following this we will revise perfect participle clauses, and past participle clauses.
In pairs we will look at the sentences in exercises 1 and match them to the rules below. Following this we will correct the sentences in exercise two, which all contain errors of subject placement.
Finally, we will play a Kahoot to revise the grammar from today’s class.

In class two we will work on writing part 1. The question is the following:
We will start off by planning our essay and creating vocabulary and grammar lists, to avoid repetition of cohesive devices. Next we will brainstorm in pairs the different ideas we could write about, and specific vocabulary related to the task. Finally, we will work individually to write our essays.
