This week we will begin Unit 4: What do you want to be? The focus will be on learning all the vocabulary (jobs and professions) and speaking in full sentences. (For example: I want to be a teacher. He is a doctor. She is a shop assistant.)
We will complete some reading, writing and listening exercises to practice the grammar and reinforce the vocabulary.
We will play some word games to review the vocabulary and a match game where the children need to match the activity to the correct job.
Grammar: the present simple vs. the present continuous and the verb «to be»
Thursday this week is Thanksgiving in the USA! We will briefly discuss the topic of Thanksgiving and learn some related vocabulary.
