Speaking – Students discuss different aspects of endangered languages to engage in the topic and generate vocabulary (students book page 22 ex 1)

Reading – Students read a Reading and Use of English part 6 task for specific information. (students book page 22 ex 2)

Exam Practice – Students complete the a Reading and Use of English part 6 task

Thursday

Exam Introduction – introduce Speaking part 2 by looking at the examiner’s instructions for key components. Then, in pairs, looking at useful vocabulary and phrases for the specific task. 

Listening – Students will listen to Ivan, a CAE student, completing the task.

Practice – In pairs, students complete a Speaking part two task.
