Class one
Today we will look at the present perfect on page 32 of the book. To help us with this grammar we will first look at some discussion questions from this link: Have you ever…? – Open the box

We will also look at the difference between for and since with this game: For/since – Quiz
Students will work in teams to make a variety of true or false statements about themselves. We will take turns reading out the sentences and by asking questions, students must guess if the statement is true or a lie.

Exercises 4, 5 and 6 on page 32.
Class two
Today in class we are looking at part 2 of the reading exam to begin with. We will complete the table on page 33 of the book, and students will then make 5 questions using the words and prepositions from the box. In pairs they will ask and answer their questions. We will then complete the exam task on page 33. Following on we will complete the listening task on page 34.
Homework
Write about a time you felt nervous before doing something important. What did you have to do and why were you so nervous? How did you deal with the nerves? What might be some other techniques to help fight being nervous?
