We will start the class today with a Kahoot to poll the students on their opinion regarding social media, and if we have an addiction to it.
We will then complete the listening tasks on Page 14 (Exercises 1,3,5 and 6)
For the second part of the class we will review how to write a CAE essay using the Freeway Writing Guide

Your class has had a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of social media in our lives. You have made the notes below:

Write an essay discussing TWO of the advantages and disadvantages regarding social media. You should explain which point has had the greatest impact on our lives, giving reasons in support of your answer.
Write your answer in the appropriate style in 220-260 words.
Wednesday 6th
Today we will start the class with a short (but highly scientific) personality quiz.
We will then work through activities 1-5 on page 15 which focus on personality adjectives and also touches on word formation.
We will then discuss the following questions:
- Describe your best friend’s personality and why you get on so well.
- Who do you get on best with in your family? Why?
- Who are you most different too in your family? Do you still get on well or do you fight a lot?
We will finish class with a Kahoot about idioms:
