Hi Everyone,
Today we will start the lesson with a kahoot about sports.
We will do a reading-based lesson.
We will finish the All About Me unit by doing activities 1-4 on page 11 of the Compact PET book:
Then we will start the next unit in the book – Winning and Losing.
We will do activities 1-5 on p. 14.
We will finish the lesson with a game of bingo, practicing the vocab we have learned.
Homework (for Wednesday 13th October):
Complete the reading activity on page 15.
Wednesday 13th October:
Hi Everyone,
We will do a kahoot on sports as a starter for today’s lesson.
We will start the lesson by going over the homework from Monday.
Then we will focus on speaking practice.
We will work through activities 1-3 on page 21.
We will play a game of Alibi. The class will divide into 2 teams.
– Team 1 are criminals, and Team 2 are police.
– The criminals have to work together to plan their alibi – the story of where they were when the crime happened.
– The police will then interview them one by one and decide if they go to prison.
After this, we will play a game of werewolf.
– The class will divide into villagers, 1 doctor and 2 werewolves.
– Nobody knows who the rest of the class are.
– We will all close our eyes and imagine it’s night.
– Every night, the werewolf will point at one person to kill.
– Every night, the doctor can try to save one person.
– The villagers and doctor have to guess who is the werewolf before the whole class dies.
To finish the lesson, we will play some games with the interactive board.
Homework (for Monday 18th October): Read the feedback on your writing homework from last week, and make improvements.
