Class 1: Wednesday 27th October
We will start today by going over the answers for the homework – exam reading task on page 15.
Then we will have a speaking discussion about sports – exercise 4 on page 17.
Next we will look at some phrasal verbs – exercise 1 on page 18. We will also do exercise 2 as a speaking together.
Finally exercise 2 on page 19 – reading/vocabulary task.
Homework due Friday 29th: exercise 3 on page 18.
Class 2: Friday 29th October
First we will go over the answers for the homework.
Then we will do the exam reading task on page 19 together, focusing on prepositions.
For the rest of the lesson we will look at Writing Part 2 of the B2 exam. This part is about writing a story. We will look at the example exam task and student answer on page 20, then complete some exercises. Exercise 2 – the past and present simple.
Together we will talk about the homework – writing your own story.
We will finish with a Halloween Bamboozle and some games.
