Monday
Hi everyone and I hope you had a nice weekend? The homework was writing, so the first thing we will do is collect it and talk about it a little bit.
It was about the dangers of social media, and I asked you to write an article.
Today in the class we will:
- Page 30 from the book is about the passive tense. This is a very important grammar point, so we can do all the relevant exercises from that page and the back of the book.
- Here is a passive game
- Here are some passive Q n A
- The next page is about Polite language
- Finally we will look at family and ask some family questions.
Wednesday
This is the last class of the week, so we will give and talk about the homework today. Also, we will:
- Speculating during the Speaking sections is vital and today we will look at that skill.
- We will look at some Speaking Part 2 examples and how to use Speculating properly.
- Here is a set of Family Questions
- The final grammar is about Used to and Get Used to.
- We will play a game to use that Grammar.
Homework
As usual I stress the importance of homework. This week the homework will be:
- As usual, the homework will be focused on writing.
- Please write an Essay
