Class 1 – Tuesday, November 16th

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! Today we will start with a unit 7 on page 18 of the Student’s book.
The main objective of this lesson is to expand our vocabulary, especially our verb repertory and see how these verbs are connected to body parts. Can you use all these verbs easily and without blinking an eye? Let’s see!
First we’ll explain and mime all the verbs we have on page 18.
Then we will do activities A and B.

Next thing we’ll do is talk about the activity C. We’ll give our suggestions and field our ideas about what happened in the story. Then we will try to complete and tell the whole story.

Last thing will be our time to polish up our acting skills. We will act out a story! Three students will be a boy, his mother and his friend.

Class 2 – Thursday, November 18th

Howdy! Today we will start with a conversation about school subjects. Does history give you a headache? Do you know all world capitals? What is your favorite subject? Which subjects don’t you like? Which subjects are difficult?

Next we’ll do the activity A on page 20.

Next we’ll watch a video and see how kids from different countries feel about their school subjects:

We’ll continue with activities B and C.

Next we’ll watch a video of a student interview about school subjects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISaUpxmKwio
and then we’ll act it out ourselves. Students will interview each other about their school subjects and learn how to express basic likes and dislikes.

Last, we’ll do a listening activity E on page 21 and finish with these two activities:
