Today we will start off with some exam practice for part 2 of the speaking test.

We will then have a short discussion about the role of books and reading before completing the following exam task from part 2 of the Reading and Use of English:
We will also revise the writing exam, in particular the essay. We will examine how to write a great introduction and the ideal paragraph structure. We will use the writing guide to help us with this, as well as the following sample answers:
