Tuesday 26th
Today we will begin a new topic about space and the solar system. We will first learn the names of the planets (in English) and watch the following video:
We will also look at the space vocabulary from the book (Star, telescope, comet, moon, spaceship, planet, UFO, satellite) on page 60.
We will also discuss if we really are alone in the universe or if aliens exist.
To finish off the class we will play a game to practice the time, and daily routines.

Thursday 28th
Today we will start with a revision of the planets and the vocabulary we learned last class using this bamboozle: space | Baamboozle
We will then talk about the life of an astronaut and what living in space is like. We will watch these videos:
Life Aboard the International Space Station
‘Space makes eating a lot more fun!’ Astronauts explain food prep
We will revise our daily routines and times of the day.
Students will then read the story on pages 64 and 65 and answer comprehension questions.
To finish the class we will either play a game or watch a short video depending on the time. Here are both the links, so you can have a look at home at whichever activity we don’t complete in class.
