Class 1
Today we wil do an extended reading task to revise vocabulary from Units 3 & 4 – The Diamond Necklace. The children will read the story then we will listen to the animated version. Revising animals and places in town: flamingo, cinema, shopping centre, tiger etc.
Next we will speak about the story, answering questions about it for comprehension. Finally we will do some work in the activity books related to the story.
Finishing with a game of Bamboozle.
Class 2
Today we will do some more work in the activity books to finish off Unit 5 – Fun Time. The children will do the last questions in the book and then do a vocabulary review where we ask each other questions – «Do you like reading comics?» » Yes I do» etc.
We will finish with some Wordwall games and Bamboozle to practice.
