Hi guys, in class one we began with a revision of the inverted conditionals and played a kahoot. We then looked at the listening exam (test 3, part 1).
Homework: Please complete the sentence transformations from the inverted conditionals handout. Secondly, please read the narrative of a holiday and find the definitions of words you don’t know.
In class two we will clarify any doubts with regards to the homework, and then broadly discuss holidays. We’ll also check out some extra phrases you could use in the speaking and writing exams. We will complete listening part 2 (from test 3) and then look at how to structure the homework, which is the following:
You have recently been travelling in an exotic country. Your friend has written to you because they are thinking about visiting the same place. Write them a letter describing the highlights of your trip, you should also mention any problems you encountered, say whether or not you would recommend the place and give your friend advice for their trip.
