Hi guys, this week we will start our classes by taking about your drawing from the Art Challenge. Remember to bring them!
Class One:
In our first class this week we will talk about different jobs. You will learn some new vocabulary and we will complete an online quiz.
We will also listen to a short story about a boy and his dream job in the future.
Do you know what you want to be when you grow up? For homework please write a description of your dream job. The rest of the class will have to guess what it is!
Class Two:
We will begin with your descriptions, let’s see how many jobs we can guess!
Then we will watch a video about firefighters and how they fight fires. It’s an exciting but dangerous job!
We will also look at some grammar – using must and mustn’t when talking about different jobs.
For homework, please write a sentence with must and mustn’t to talk about different professions. For example:
A good fire fighter must be brave.
A good fire fighter mustn’t get scared easily.
Write about: a teacher, a nurse, an astronaut, a mechanic and a farmer.
