Class One:
Hi guys, we will spend the first half of the class on your presentations. You will have to prepare some questions based on the topic, so listen carefully!
We will then do a speaking activity called Amnesty. You will have to decide which prisoner should be released from prison, so better make a compelling argument! You can find the activity here.
Class Two:
We will continue with the topic of crime and learn some new vocabulary.
For this lesson you will need the following worksheet. You will work in groups to complete the comprehension and vocabulary activities.
At the end of the class we will review our new crime vocab with a Kahoot quiz.
Homework
Prepare a small project based on a crime story from an English-speaking newspaper. Make a mind map of all the crime-related vocabulary you have found in the story and prepare a short summary of what happened. You will have to tell the others about this in the next class.
