Class one
This week we are going to talk about jobs. In class one we will learn vocabulary related to jobs:
Next, students have to write down two jobs they would like to do and two jobs that they wouldn’t like to do. They will explain their choices to the group.
We will review jobs and vocabulary with this worksheet:
Students will receive a zoom message and they explain and act out a job
To finish class students will work in teams to play a quiz
Homework: Complete the worksheet by saying what job each person has.
Class two:
In class we will begin by checking the homework and listening to the remaining presentations about our families.
Next we will revise must and mustn’t with a short quiz and an activity in pairs.
We will also learn two new expressions- have to and doesn’t / don’t have to.
Students will put this into practise by writing clues about jobs and other students have to guess the job.
To finish class we will play a Kahoot to revise all the jobs we learned this week, and also the grammar that we studied in class.

What jobs do the people in your family do?
Why don’t you interview a member of your family about their job and then tell us all about it? Here are some questions you could ask them:
- Where do you work?
- What do you do?
- Are there things you must do?
- What are some things you mustn’t do?
- What time do you start and finish?
- Do you have to wear a uniform?
- What do you like about your job?
- What don’t you like about your job?
