In class one we’ll look at speaking part 1 on page 9. Students will practice some of the more difficult questions in part one by answering questions in exercise 3 and 4. We will then complete exercises 1 and 2 on page 8, and the listening exam task.
Homework
In class two we will practise the present simple vs present continuous on page 10. We will complete exercise 5 as a class and then in pairs students will complete the sentences in exercise 7. On page 12 students will complete exercise 5 and then take in part in role play situations to practise advising, explaining, describing and persuading.
To finish off we will play a Bamboozle to practise the present tenses.
