Class one
In class one we will learn about the past simple and past continuous on page 16 of the book. We also have a Bamboozle to practise the grammar. We will play a game called Alibi to practise using verbs in the past tense. Students have to create a story about how they met and undergo a ‘police interrogation’.

Complete exercises 1 and 2 on page 71.
Class two
In class two we will look at how to write a story (page 20). We will look at an example and review how to structure a story. We will then work in pairs to plan our story and complete the sentences in exercise 4.
Remember that we have a writing guide with lots of amazing tips and phrases to help write the perfect story. Don’t be afraid to copy expressions from this guide to improve your answer.
We will finish the class with a Bamboozle about sports.
