Class one

In class one we will begin with revision of the adverbs of frequency. Then we will continue to learn different adjectives we can use to describe our favourite TV shows. We will listen to and read Frank’s Trick, on pages 16-17. We will complete the corresponding pages in the student activity book, as well as the crossword on page 17. To finish class we will play pictionary.

Class two

Today we are finishing off topic two in the book. We have a number of games to revise the present simple and present continuous, a spelling game and a sentence forming game to revise adverbs of frequency. We’ll finish with a quiz about TV shows.

Homework

Your homework for next Tuesday is to make a poster about your favourite TV programmes.

  1. Choose two or three programmes that you like.
  2. Say what type of programme they are (e.g. cartoon, film, documentary, chat show etc).
  3. Describe what happens on the programme.
  4. Who are the main characters that appear on the show?
  5. Say what you like them about the show (remember to use lots of adjectives!)
  6. Include lots of photos so we can see your favourite shows!
