Hi guys,
In class one we will look at intelligence and how to measure it. We will complete a short IQ test and discuss how (in)effective they are in measuring intelligence. We will then look at different types of thinkers on page 30. Students will discuss in pairs what types of thinkers the famous people on page 31 are. We will then finish by completing listening task 2 on page 32.

For homework please complete the exam task on page 34/35.
Class two
In class two we are looking at the passive voice on page 33. We’ll start off by examining the sentences in exercise 1 on page 33, and discuss how we form the passive voice and in what situations it is used. We will also look at the sentences in exercise 4 and turn them from active to passive.
Following on, we will look at reporting passives and how we can use them to make our writing more formal.
