Class one
In class one we are looking at phrasal verbs related to thinking and learning. We will begin by completing exercise 1 on page 22. Then we will work in pairs to play a game called Scattergories. Students have to write down three activities related to each phrasal verb. Following this we will look at part 4 of the use of english exam. This is very tricky so we’ll spend some time focusing on exam technique, and then work in groups to complete the questions from this link: https://www.flo-joe.co.uk/fce/students/strategy/transfrm/phrasals.htm
We will finish with phrasal verb Pictionary. Students must draw a picture that represents a phrasal verb we learned today.

Class two
Today we will begin a new topic called Take it easy. We will look at the About You questions on page 24 and discuss them in pairs. We will then listening to the people talking in eight situation and match what they say to each photo. From this we will focus on the vocabulary in exercise 2 and complete the discussion questions in exercise 3.
Afterwards we will look at the reading task on page 25. We’ll start off by discussing the questions about stress, and then skim read the texts and answer questions in exercise 3.
We will look at the phrasal verbs on page 26 and also revise the verbs we learned on Wednesday.
We will finish the class with a Kahoot.
