In class one we looked at how to write a proposal. We work in small groups to plan the following question, which you will write for homework:
There are plans to demolish an old and unused building in the town where you are a student. You feel that the building should be saved. You decide to write a proposal for the town council explaining why you think the building should be preserved, suggesting what could be done to modernise it and saying how the building could benefit the local people.
Write your proposal in 220-260 words.
In class two we will look at verbs that are followed by either the gerund, or the infinitive. Students will work in pairs to complete activities 1 and 2 on page 54.

We will then play a Kahoot to see some more confusing verb forms, before answering questions using these specific phrases. We will then complete the speaking part 2 task on pages 58 and 59.
