Speaking and Listening (Reading and Use of English Part 5)- a review of R&UoE part 5 with tips and traps to watch out for.
Speaking- a discussions about the different ways students use tech in their day-to-day lives designed to generate vocabulary (ex. 1 page 33)
R&UoE – students complete a reading and use of English part 5 task (Page 34/5)
Speaking- Students discuss various aspects of the reading (ex 4page 36)
Grammar and Writing – two exercises intended to allow students to practice both active to passive transformation and practice using the passive in a formal structure.
Thursday
Reading and Speaking – In pairs students identify different aspects of informal/neutral/formal writing from three short texts
Listening- Students listen to Joh Snow, a famous news reported, reporting on a famous song and try to identify it.
Homework – choose and well known song and report on it using the most formal language possible.
