Homework review

Speaking – In pairs students think of examples of people who work in different jobs be they famous or people they know. Then Student rate the jobs from being perceived as wholly masculine, wholly feminine or in between

Speaking / Vocabulary – Students are given three collocations are asked to decide of the three which is not a collocation. Then in pairs students produce the same question for others in the class. 

Speaking – Students guess the dates women were given equal rights as men in various areas used as a guided discovery for the passive.

Homework – Students find the same information and dates for Spain.

Homework review 

Vocabulary – A pre-reading vocabulary task where students watch words to their definitions.

Vocabulary – In pairs students are given one word from the previous task and have to transfer the word into different word classes 

Reading – Students read a text about IWD answering comprehension questions.
Reading – Students complete a R&UoE part 3 type task using the same text.
