In class one we will start a new unit in the book on the topic of the media. We will discuss our own consumption of media and where we get the news from, and take part in a short to test to see how well we can identify fake news.
We will then complete the listening task on page 85. Following on, we will complete exercises 1-3, which relate to prefixes and suffixes, on page 86.
Homework:
Complete the part 3 exam task on page 87
In class two we will work in pairs to complete the part 3 speaking task on page 88.
Next we will look at exercises 1 and 2 on page 89 to understand the meaning between different ‘talking’ verbs.
Finally we will complete exercise 5 on page 90, in preparation of the homework.
