Listening & Speaking – Students watch a short TedTalk about public speaking. Then discuss a series of question about their own personal experiences of speaking in public and giving presentations.
Reading – Students read a presentation by Abby, the head of marketing for stranger things a source for key elements of a good presentation.
Language – in pairs students brain storm other expressions for various parts of a presentation including introducing, sequencing, concluding etc
Thursday
Grammar & vocabulary – students review the different way for showing trends in English.
Speaking & writing – Students prepare and give short 5 minute presentation on a subject of their choice.
Speaking – Students give each other feedback on their presentations.
