Hello everyone, today we will start the Open World B2 book. We will look at the Starter Unit on Page 9. Exercises 2 & 3 talking about emotions.
Then reading exercises 1-3 on Page 10 about emojis. Discussion exercise 5.
Grammar: Present perfect review. We will watch a video and answer exercise 1 on page 11.
Homework due Thursday 7th Oct:
Exercises 3 & 4 on Page 11.
Class 2: Thursday 5th October
First we will get the answers from the homework exercises and ask the questions from the second exercise together.
Bamboozle for practice of present perfect simple/continuous.
Exercises 1-3 on Page 12. Speaking and listening, comparing countries.
Grammar: comparatives and superlatives. Read the text on page 12 and underline the comparative and superlative adjectives. Exercise 3 on page 12 to practice.

Read Sarah’s story on Page 13, then write your own story – exercise 4 on page 13.
