Class 1: Tuesday 16th November
I will collect your essays for homework due today first.
We will start today with a fact file on Seoul on pages 38-39. We will talk about ways of making friends in a city and how Seoul is different/similar to Valencia from the pictures and this video.
We will then do some vocabulary and listening exercises on page 39, watch another video and have a discussion.
Next we will do the progress check on page 40. Present perfect review, comparatives and superlatives and communication.
Homework due Thursday 18th November:
Exercises 5-6 on page 40-41 – Gerunds + infinitives & linkers.
Class 2: Thursday 18th November
Today we will start with the homework corrections. We will then finish the progress check on page 41.
We will do any extra revision of topics from Units 1 & 2 that need done using the grammar reference from page 204.
We will finish by looking at Writing part 2 – a review. Pages 238-239.
