We will start by correcting the homework – the vocabulary and grammar review – exercises 1-4 on page 29.
We will then start Unit 3 – Happy Holidays. We will start by watching this video and discuss what the purpose of the video is and what we took from it.
Then we will do page 30 – look the pictures, talk about the activities and the advantages and disadvantages of these types of holidays. Also exercise 1.
Listening exercise 2 on page 31. Then more speaking about our favourite holidays.
Grammar: past continuous, past simple and used to: exercises 1-3 on page 31.
Next we will look at vocabulary: travel, journey, trip and way. – exercises 1-3 on page 32.
Finishing with a look at Reading Part 3.
Homework for Friday:
Reading exercise 3 on page 33. AND Exercises 1-2 on pages 165-166 on Past simple, past continuous and used to.
