Class 1 – Tuesday, December 21st
Ho-ho-ho! It is the last class in 2021 and we’ll spend it talking about Christmas, Christmas traditions, vocabulary and idioms.
First we’ll begin with Christmas idioms:
We’ll then talk a look at this short video about people in Britain and their expectations for Christmas:

and continue talking about what we’re looking forward to about Christmas.
We’ll then work on Christmas vocabulary and do more expressions related to Christmas and holidays in general (e.g. to get showered with gifts, to overindulge, to get tipsy etc.).
