Class 1
Welcome back everyone, I hope you had a great holiday! Today we will start the class with a discussion about our holidays and our New Year’s Resolutions. We will read an article and look at common resolutions for 2022.
Then we will do some speaking practice in the textbook – page 53.
We will do some more Parts 3 & 4 speaking from the Workbook with some listening practice.
We will finish the class with a Big Quiz of 2021 Kahoot.
Class 2
Today we will do the Real World section in the textbook – Educating Yourself in Toronto – pages 54-55. This will be the final part of the Unit on learning. We will have a discussion about different courses we’ve taken and look at the examples on page 54.
We will then do a listening and look at the phrases we might use. Then watch the video on Toronto and discuss.
We will finish by doing an end of Unit test for Unit 3 to review the work we did last term.
Homework due Tuesday 18th January: exercises 1 & 2 below (this is not in your textbooks).
