Class 1 – Monday, January 17th
Hello everyone! Today we are starting a unit 11 – Visiting different places on page 26, Student’s book.
First we’ll do activity A and solve a puzzle. While we do it, we’ll try to give more ideas that could describe the words we have. For example: for grass – we could use sentences like: You see it in parks. People play football/tennis on it. You can sit on it. Horses eat it… There are many ways to describe the words in a puzzle and we will try to be creative and come up as many as we can.
We’ll do an activity to learn the vocabulary about nature and the world around us:

Next we’ll do an activity B on page 27 and choose what is the best answer for a dialogue.
We’ll finish with a listening exercise on page 26 – Student’s listen to a dialogue and paint the picture according to the instructions heard in a dialogue (colors needed: brown, blue, orange).
Our last activity will be a game of whack-a-mole where the objective is to recognize places in the city and eliminate places outside the city / countryside:
