Class 1
First we will start today by looking over the writing homework – Terrible Holidays article. Everyone will read out their stories and have the class comment on them, then I will collect them to give feedback.
Then we will do some speaking preparation – creating questions from previous topics and asking them in groups – page 62.
Next the Reading exam practice on page 64. Followed by speaking exam practice – asking and answering questions in pairs.
Finishing this class with Real World – Travelling around Buenos Aires.
Homework for Thursday: Countable and uncountable nouns exercises 1-2 on page 212.
Class 2
We will correct the homework first.
Today we will start Unit 5 – Grab some culture. We will start by having a discussion about everyone’s musical talents.
Then we will do a listening – exercise 3 on page 68.
We will then have a discussion about films and the cinema – exercise 1 on page 69. Next some practice on changing sentences, Use of English practice – exercises 6-7 on page 70.
Finishing with a game.
Homework for Tuesday: Reading exercises 3 and 4 on page 69.
