Class 1 – Tuesday, February 15th

Today we’ll learn about professions in unit 17 – A day’s work.
We’ll begin by talking about what each student would like to be when they grow up.

Then we’ll do activities on page 38, Student’s book – A, B and listening practice C.
While doing the activity B, we’ll explain a difference between „this“ for singular and „these“ for plural and try to use them in our own examples.

Our next task will continue our listening practice and students will listen to the name of the profession and match what they hear with a picture of a profession:

Class 2 – Thursday, February 17th

Today we will go back to talking about food and do some activities from the unit 15 – What’s for dinner?

We’ll kick off with an activity A on page 34 – to practice listening.
Next we’ll do activity D on page 35 of Student’s book.

We’ll move on with activities 1, 2, 3 and 4 from the Home Fun Booklet, pages 8 and 9.

We’ll wrap up with a conversation practice and talk about food. We’ll also introduce new vocabulary such as takeout/takeaway (UK) food and home-made food, junk food and fast food.
