Class 1
Today we will start by correcting the homework – reading task on page 76.
Then we will do Progress check 2 on pages 80-81. If any additional work needs done on any of the grammar areas then we will do this.
We will then start Unit 6 – Closer to Nature. Starting with discussion in pairs about the photos of nature and matching book titles to them. Further speaking practice in exercises 1-2 about animals and sea anemone.
Homework for Thursday 17th: Reading exercises 4-5 on page 83.
Class 2
In class 2 we will do some vocabulary about the natural world, including compound nouns.
Then we will move onto prepositions, exercises on page 84 including the C1 complex prepositions.
We will then do speaking in groups on page 85 about animals and nature.
The last thing we will do is a listening. Exercises 3-4 on page 86.
We will briefly discuss the writing homework – an email.
Finishing with a Kahoot on prepositions.
Homework for Tuesday: Writing exercise 3 on page 236.
