Class 1
I will collect your writing homework today.
First today we will start looking at relative clauses, We will watch the grammar video then answer some questions. Exercises 1-3 on page 87.
Then we will do the reading/vocabulary exercise on page 88 – defining the difference between sensitive/sensible etc. Followed by speaking questions about safaris and bucket lists.
Next we will look at writing a report for the exam. We will do some training exercises and go over the homework.
Homework for Thursday: Reading and Use of English Part 2 exam exercise on page 90.
Homework for Tuesday: Write the report on your local zoo (on page 89.
Class 2
Today we will start by correcting the homework – reading on page 90.
Then we will start with the speaking exam practice on page 91 – comparing photos.
Next we’ll do the pages in the textbook on Going into the wild in Florida. Describing and comparing the photos of nature and reading the different activities you can do in Florida.
We will do a short listening and match expressions – page 93. Finally we will watch a video about nature in Florida and take notes and comapre.
Finishing with an exam listening exercise – page 22 of workbook and a Kahoot.
